Well this is really just a peach! Here we have a lovely early American flintlock fowling piece, made circa 1770 shortly before the outbreak of the U. S. Revolutionary War. It is all brass mounted and shows a high level of construction, made in the typical style of the time, which was essentially a scaled down "British" style. It is still in the original flintlock configuration, and shows no signs of an type of
