A Italian Rsi Navy Distinguished Mine Dredging Units Badge, C.1944 United Republic of 42 mm x 91A rounded shield shaped badge constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse bears the image of a dolphin avoiding a naval mine, above is inscribed DRAGAGGIO (DREDGING), topped with an anchor, the reverse is plain, marked PICCHIANI & BARLACCHI FIRENZE and bears a vertical pinback, measuring 23. 25 mm (w) x 28. 08 mm (h), very fine.
