A Latvian Waffen SS volunteers sleeve insignia, consisting of a red rayon blended shield overlaid by a silver aluminum wire tresse (in imitation of Latvias national emblem) topped by a black bar bearing a machine embroidered inscription of LATVIJA, the reverse reinforced with paper, unmarked, measuring 48 mm (w) x 72 mm (h), demonstrating minor material fatigue, in uniform removed and better than
